“Harmony in Diversity: Youth for Integration” is an Erasmus+ youth exchange that will bring together 30 young people from Estonia, Lithuania, Türkiye, Spain and Cyprus in Estonia, Taevaskoja. The project aims to address an issue in our communities by bringing together young people from various backgrounds to foster understanding and connection. Through this project, we seek to create a safe space for young people to share their stories and learn from one another, with the ultimate goal of promoting inclusivity and acceptance, regardless of language background.
Participants are expected to be between 18-26 y.o. and have diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds, contributing to the project's overall diversity. The number of participants is 30: 6 participants from each partner
country (5 + 1 experienced group leader). The group leader must have previous experience in the program and youthwork since the topic of the project is quite sensitive and needs a supportive environment among the group.
Our motivation for this project is personal, as some of our team members have faced identity challenges despite being born and raised in Estonia with a different official first language. We recognize that these issues persist among today's youth, including individuals who struggle with identity questions, and youth who may not fully understand these experiences.
