As Cosmos Youth Association, we continue to support the academic, personal and professional development of young people across Türkiye. In this context, an important training programme on European Union and Erasmus+ project development was recently held at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences of Muş Alparslan University.
The training was delivered by our Chairperson and experienced youth worker Furkan Hergül, who shared practical insights from his extensive field experience within Erasmus+ and Council of Europe programmes. Throughout the session, participants explored project cycle management, access to youth-focused funding opportunities, effective application strategies, and the essentials of managing international partnerships.
During the training, the following key topics were covered:
Introduction to Erasmus+ Youth Programme opportunities,
Methods for needs analysis and defining target groups in youth projects,
Guidance on developing project ideas and adapting them to funding schemes,
Presentation of successful international projects implemented by Cosmos Youth as real-life examples.
By the end of the programme, students had the chance to work on their own project ideas and gained concrete guidance on how to take the next steps toward applying for EU-funded projects.
As Cosmos Youth, we remain committed to collaborating with universities and youth structures across Türkiye and to expanding young people’s access to meaningful international learning opportunities.
We extend our sincere thanks to Muş Alparslan University for their warm collaboration and hospitality.
